Refund Policy

Because every order is custom-engraved into your leather, we handle refunds a little differently than off-the-shelf retailers. Here’s exactly how it works.

Custom work is non-refundable

Once we begin engraving, the work is permanent and the order cannot be refunded for buyer’s remorse, change-of-mind, spelling/design choices you approved, or non-receipt of a glove you never shipped to us.

Cancellations

You can cancel for a full refund any time before production starts. As long as your glove hasn’t reached the laser, email us and we’ll refund the order in full minus the shipping to your original payment method.

Our errors & defects

If we engrave the wrong design, misspell something we were given correctly, or the work is clearly defective, we’ll make it right at no cost to you — typically with a remake on a replacement glove or a full refund.

Report issues within 7 days of delivery by emailing photos to service@pickandshovels.com.

Shipping damage or loss

Outbound packages are insured up to $500 in transit. If your package arrives damaged or doesn’t arrive at all, contact us right away and we’ll help file a UPS claim and coordinate next steps.

How to request a refund

  1. Email service@pickandshovels.com with your order number.
  2. Briefly describe the issue. Include photos for any defect or damage claim.
  3. We’ll respond within one business day with next steps.

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
